Looking at the sectors faring worst as of midday Tuesday, shares of Energy companies are underperforming other sectors, showing a 3.8% loss. Within that group, Chesapeake Energy Corp. (NYSE: CHK) and ConocoPhillips (NYSE: COP) are two of the day's laggards, showing a loss of 14.0% and 8.4%, respectively.
